Friday, July 11: BAO Ozone Intercomparison

Day 3 of Pre-DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE observations. Partly cloudy. NOAA TOPAZ and the NASA Goddard O3 lidar were operated simultaneously. Ozone sondes were released by NOAA GMD at 0910 and 1115 MDT; an O3 tether sonde was launched at 1011 MDT. TOPAZ data were collected from 0658 to 1538 MDT. Ozone increased into the 90s ppbv in the early afternoon.
