Wednesday, July 16: BAO Ozone Intercomparison

Day 1 of DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE. Partly cloudy, occasional low clouds. NOAA TOPAZ and the NASA Langley O3 lidar were operated simultaneously. An ozone sonde was released by NOAA GMD at 0926 MDT. TOPAZ data were collected from 0656 to 1331 MDT. Ozone mixing ratios ranged from less than 25 ppbv near the surface in the morning to about 75 ppbv in the afternoon.
