Tuesday, July 22: DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE Fly-Day

Day 7 of DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE. NASA P3 and B200 flying. Partly cloudy, tstorms in the evening. TOPAZ data were collected from 0744 to 2029 MDT. Ozone concentrations in the 30s ppbv near the surface in the morning increased up to about 90 ppbv in the evening. At 1930 MDT ozone values dropped abruptly down to about 70 ppbv, probably due to cleaner air arriving behind a tstorm outflow boundary.
