Sunday, July 27: DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE Fly-Day

Day 12 of DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE. NASA P3, B200, and NCAR C130 flying. Low clouds in the morning, then partly cloudy. TOPAZ data were collected from 0938 to 1544 MDT. Ozone mixing ratios increased from the 30s ppbv beneath the low clouds in the morning to the 60s ppbv in the afternoon. Higher ozone concentrations approaching 100 ppbv were observed in a layer between about 1200 and 1800 m AGL just above the top of the boundary layer.
