Friday, August 15: FRAPPE Fly-Day

Day 31 of FRAPPE. C130 flying. Partly cloudy, tstorms in the afternoon. TOPAZ data were collected from 1109 to 1829 MDT. Ozone mixing ratios ranged from about 40 to the mid 60s ppbv. In the afternoon, two tstorm cell passed over BAO and dropped some rain, which necessitated temporary suspension of TOPAZ operation. After the second cell had exited, ozone levels dropped to between 40 and 50 ppbv.
