AEROMMA Participants

Atmospheric Emissions and Reactions Observed from Megacities to Marine Areas (AEROMMA) addresses emerging research needs in urban air quality, marine chemistry influences on cloud formation, and interactions at the marine-urban interface. AEROMMA will bring together scientists from NOAA and partners to investigate anthropogenic and marine emissions that alter tropospheric composition and impact air quality and climate. Science flight operations will base from Ontario, California and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and in the New York City region during May - July 2023.
