Tobias Marke joined the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) working with the Atmospheric Remote Sensing Team of the Chemical Sciences Laboratory in September 2019. His research interests include studying atmospheric boundary-layer processes using long-term ground-based remote sensing instruments and evaluating high resolution LES models. The main focus is on retrieving wind and turbulence information from Doppler lidar observations to analyze low-level jets, exchange processes with the land surface and supporting renewable energy studies.
