Daily Summary:

Wednesday, July 23: DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE Fly-Day
Day 8 of DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE. NASA P3 and B200 flying. Low clouds in the morning, then partly cloudy and tstorms in the afternoon. TOPAZ data were collected from 0714 to 1744 MDT. Ozone concentrations in the 30s ppbv near the surface in the morning increased to about 90 ppbv in the early afternoon. Cleaner air associated with tstorm outflows arrived at around 1500 MDT and subsequently ozone concentrations dropped to 50 - 60 ppbv.

Note: Data are preliminary. Potential biases near clouds have not yet been fully corrected.
