Daily Summary:

Thursday, August 07: DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE Fly-Day
Day 23 of DiscoverAQ/FRAPPE. NASA P3, B200, and NCAR C130 flying. Mostly cloudy in the morning, thunderstorms and rain around midday, then partly cloudy. TOPAZ data were collected from 0710 to 1620 MDT. Ozone mixing ratios ranged from about 20 ppbv near the surface in the morning to the 60s ppbv around noon. Thunderstorms and rain between 1230 and 1330 MDT cleaned out the air. After passage of the storms, ozone mixing ratios stayed in the upper 40s to mid 50s ppbv.

Note: Data are preliminary. Potential biases near clouds have not yet been fully corrected.
