Saturday, June 11: CABOTS IOP1
Day 14 of CABOTS IOP 1 observations. TOPAZ data were taken from 12:18 - 17:30 PDT. Much cloudier and cooler with a high of 32C. Scattered FWC near 3.4 km agl in addition to widespread alto cirrus and contrail cirrus near 5.6 km all day. The afternoon BL was a little deeper (about 700 m) than on the previous days with an elevated residual aerosol layer at about 1500m. The differentiation between the BL and RL was less obvious in the ozone measurements. Surface ozone reached about 60 ppbv in the late afternoon.
