Fact Sheets
The multi-agency consortium ICARTT (International Consortium for Atmospheric Research on Transport and Transformation) was formed to study the sources, sinks, chemical transformations and transport of ozone, aerosols and their precursors to and over the North Atlantic Ocean. The ICARTT community includes scientists from the United States, Canada, and Europe. Results from ICARTT research has been featured at scientific meetings in North America and Europe. New scientific results from ICARTT are starting to appear in the peer-reviewed literature and will continue to do so fort many years.
A series of Fact Sheets have been created to provide an early "first look" at important findings that are coming from ICARTT in a reader-friendly format. The Fact Sheets are designed to present important new science results and findings of high societal relevance to technical non-experts in the community and have been reviewed by an internal committee of peers.
