Data Management Plan
SABRE Data Repository
https://csl.noaa.gov/projects/sabre/data.html
NOAA CSL hosts data for these measurement platforms:
Data Download
- Data organized by flight then data ID
- Only ICARTT file format files (.ict) available
- Alternate view available for data organized by submission date
- Password protected if not on internal network
Data Submission
- Data for all platforms is submitted online
- Checks ICARTT file format and automatically submits to archive
- Aim to submit preliminary data within 24 hours of each flight
Data Format Requirements
- In-situ measurements should use the ICARTT file format
- Refer to the ICARTT Data Format description
- Filenames should follow this naming convention: DataID_PlatformID_YYYYMMDD_R#[_L#].ict
- Assistance will be provided to troubleshoot ICARTT formatting issues
- Data times should use UTC
Data IDs
Each ICARTT filename should begin with one of these data IDs:
