Science Saves Congressional Briefing

The House Earth and Space Science Caucus presents Science Saves on 14 September 2017 in Washington D.C.

The Earth and space sciences play a critical role in saving time, resources, and lives. Speakers were invited to discuss the various ways federally funded science data and research serve to protect our nation's health, economy, and security.

CSD's Director David Fahey discussed Atmospheric Research in support of wildfire management . The room was filled to capacity; approximately 70 staffers attended the event sponsored by Congressman Jared Polis.
