Abstract

Direct Air Capture, or DAC, has gained enormous recognition in recent years as an important technology that can provide negative emissions. Global Thermostat is a Colorado based DAC company and is regarded as the most developed DAC company in the United States. In this talk, we will introduce Global Thermostat and provide an insider's perspective into the status of DAC. We will describe Global Thermostat's DAC technology platform, discuss example application areas and deployment scenarios, and describe current areas of R&D that can reduce the costs of DAC.
