Accessibility

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is committed to providing access to all individuals – with or without disabilities – seeking electronic information on NOAA websites. The Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) builds our websites to conform to the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (as amended), which requires that all individuals with disabilities (whether federal employees or members of the general public) have access to, and use of, information and data comparable to that provided to individuals without disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on us.

NOAA's commitment to accessibility extends beyond our digital assets. The NOAA Policy Statement on Diversity and Inclusion and related documents outline activities including recruitment, education, and engagement for all employees. In addition, as prescribed by the Architectural Barriers Act, NOAA consistently works to provide an adaptable and accessible workplace for employees and visitors. The NOAA Office of Inclusion and Civil Rights maintains information on NOAA Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
