The David Skaggs Research Center is home to the Boulder organizations of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and 1100 employees of NOAA and its joint institute, the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES). The 236,000 square foot building was completed and occupied in spring of 1999.
