Workshop held at the Sustainability, Energy, and Environmental Community (SEEC) at the University of Colorado Boulder.

The AGES+ (AEROMMA+CUPiDS, GOTHAAM, EPCAPE, STAQS, and others) workshop will bring together researchers and stakeholders from the summer 2023 field activities including the Atmospheric Emissions and Reactions Observed from Megacities to Marine Areas (AEROMMA) campaign, the Coastal Urban Plume Dynamics Study (CUPiDS), the Eastern Pacific Cloud Aerosol Precipitation Experiment (EPCAPE), the Synergistic TEMPO Air Quality Science (STAQS) mission, and others (full list) to discuss preliminary data analysis.

Objectives:

  • Provide a platform to discuss the science goals and preliminary data analysis for all the summer 2023 field activities and identify synergies
  • Increase collaboration across the different campaigns
  • Increase collaboration between researchers collecting the measurements and researchers using the measurements for model and/or satellite evaluation
  • Increase collaboration between researchers and environmental managers/stakeholders

The AGES+ workshop will be a hybrid meeting, held at the Sustainability, Energy, and Environmental Community (SEEC) building at the University of Colorado Boulder. Registrants are encouraged to attend in person, but there is also a virtual component. The virtual component will allow participants to give presentations, listen to all discussions including the breakout sessions, and ask questions through a chat application.

Funding for the 2024 AGES+ Workshop is provided by the NOAA Climate Program Office, Atmospheric Chemistry Carbon Cycle and Climate (AC4) and NASA.
