Daily Summary:

June 24. Monday. Cool and overcast with midlevel clouds early and mostly clearing by late afternoon when some lenticulars formed. Thw winds were light, shifting from south to east near midday. Lidar data was collected from 1147 to 1757 PDT. The preliminary TOPAZ curtain plot shows very low ozone of presumed subtropical origin with the lowest values above 2 km AGL in the late morning and descending to 1 km AGL by late afternoon. The in situ measurements were 40/88 ppbv (O3/CO) at 1147 PDT and only 44/94 at 0033 PDT. The valley monitors also measured very low values.
