Daily Summary:

June 28. Friday. Clear and hot with steady SSE winds. Peak temperatures of 80F at Angel Peak and 113F at McCarran Airport.. More haze in the valley and above Angel Peak. Lidar data was collected from 1016 to 1904 PDT. The preliminary TOPAZ curtain plot shows low ozone all through the day with no apparent transport from the valley. The in situ measurements increased from 50/94 ppbv (O3/CO) at 0912 PDT to 53/106 at 1130 PDT and 48/112 at 1635. The winds briefly shifted to the NE after 1700 PDT leading to a short lived increase. End of TOPAZ measurements.
