ITCT 2001 General Info
The ITCT 2001 study was a NOAA ESRL CSD (formerly the Aeronomy Laboratory) adjunct effort to make measurements of ozone (O3) and carbon monoxide (CO) on NOAA aircraft. The ITCT 2001 Study was a combination of the annual NOAA 2001 Winter Storms Reconnaissance project and the 2001 Pacific Land-fall Experiment (PACJET) Study.

The NOAA WP-3D completed 15 flights and the Gulfstream G-IV made 15 flights.
Coordinating organizations include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's
(NOAA) Earth System Research Laboratory's (ESRL) Physical Sciences Division (PSD) [formerly the Environmental Technology Laboratory (ETL)], NOAA ESRL Chemical Sciences Division (CSD) [formerly the Aeronomy Laboratory (AL)], and the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC).
