WinterStorms 2003 General Info
The 2003 Winter Storms study was an adjunct effort to measure ozone (O3) during NOAA's annual Winter Storms Reconnaissance and research project.

The NOAA Gulfstream G-IV completed 24 flights, primarily from airports in Honolulu, HI and Fairbanks, AK.
Coordinating organizations include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) Chemical Sciences Division (CSD) [formerly the Aeronomy Laboratory (AL)], and the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC).
