A ground-based sampling site was located at the Storm Peak Laboratory near the Steamboat Springs ski area.
Investigators were from Colorado State University, University of Colorado, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) Chemical Sciences Division (CSD) [formerly the Aeronomy Laboratory (AL)], University of Wyoming, Univerity of California - Davis, and the Desert Research Institute.
